letter two

Dear ronzoni,
I appreciate the whole wheat version of your pasta, and that it doesn’t ruin my stomach like the Barilla Plus+. I even forgive you (or is it my Publix?) that there are only two shapes and one noodle from which to choose.
However, ronzoni, the last time I boiled that thin spaghetti? The cooking time was way off. I believe the package directions instructed boiling the noodles for 8-10 minutes. Ahem.
They were done. And I do not mean al dente done. In 6 minutes. That is too large a gap in time to “account for taste.”
Good thing I checked them!
I’m not going to stop buying you, though I did experiment with a different brand last time.

I am so glad to read Sarah's letter. I thought something was wrong with my stove top (or kitchen timer) when I too had a familiar experience.
